10/10 experience. My husband had a sentimental 2000’s era bike tuned up and fixed up after sitting in our garage for nearly 10 years and it looks and rides like NEW! With that we decided it’s time to go riding as a family. I’m so thankful to Wes who guided me in finding the right bike for my needs. He also took into account that I have back issues so loading a bike onto a car can be difficult when I’m solo. So he added a device that makes loading way easier by adding a cross bar. Who knew that existed?!? Wes did! We never felt pressured or up sold. I’d recommend a visit whether you’re new or getting back into biking and want a knowledgeable conversation or expert level looking at the latest gear. This is what shopping local should be like.

I had needed some parts for my bike that I had crashed pretty bad and although I live in Waxhaw, it was worth the drive all the way to Statesville to meet Wes. I never felt rushed and talking to him and asking questions about things that I do not know. I needed a part that I really couldn’t even find a Shimano and he just happened to have what I needed and he was very fair to me. I wanted him to work on my bike, but he was backed up a week and since I’m an hour and a half away, I brought it back home. If I was in the area, I would definitely consider him from purchasing and as a mechanic

I was visiting Statesville and dropped by the shop for some tubes and advice for routes. I was very impressed with Wes's technical knowledge and his knowledge of the surrounding area. The shop was well equipped, good merchandise, great bikes, and well maintained. PLUS, you can grab a libation and have a conversation while you are there. Now that is a bike shop! If I lived here, this would be my go-to bike shop. If you are visiting, drop in. They are incredibly hospitable, knowledgeable, and will work to meet your biking needs. Very impressive. I'd give them six stars if I could. I'll definitely be back for the area's cycling and will most definitely make this a must stop. Thanks, Wes!
